Ranzeno Frazier on Entourage Modeling Troupe (Part 2)

The second part to my interview with Ranzeno Frazier. We discuss respect, competitions, and his favorite show from the troupe's catalog. 


How do students and faculty feel about Entourage on Livingstone's campus?
Entourage is the most respected on the campus by faculty staff and student. they even ask the troupe to perform at some of the various events on campus
Does this respect come from the troupe's talent or is it because of student leadership and connections?
Both.
You mentioned earlier that Nexx Leval became it's own entity from a competition squad within Entourage. How did that affect the way Entourage handles competitions? I imagine it stopped the whole creation of an elite group getting to travel.
Not really we try to bring everyone to compete but we will only bring the best!
Ok. When was the last time you all competed, and what was the outcome?
The last show we received 2nd place it was the ciaa concoction
When was that?
Well it may have been 2009 
Editor's note: Entourage actually placed 3rd in this competition, behind Fasho Modeling Troupe and Unparalleled Productions, who placed second and first respectively. Both are from Johnson C. Smith University. 
I saw that show. Wow, it's been 3 years? Why so long without competing?
A lot to do with the fashion troupes in HBCU dying down. It was the hip thing to do but now not many competitions are happening!
Yeah, they are usually out east now a days. Charlotte and the Triad area have not had many of them in the past three years.
Do you view competitions as a good thing or as a distraction?
Good but at the same time its kind of bitter sweet because some troupes spend late hours preparing for comps that sometimes takes the focus off of academics
Right, but then again, there's always time to study, one has to be bite the bullet and bull an all-nighter.
Or study after practice instead of post-practice socializing
It is an extracurricular activity the president needs to realize these are not shows that will get anyone discovered and that if you cant get your practice done in he allowed time the o well
Right, but not just the president, regular members too. So tell me about this M.G.M. (Models Gone Mad) group.
This is a group that is just a mixture of Nexx level and Entourage that haves fun in spare time and off season for model they are not under Livingstone

Oh. I see. What has being in Entourage taught you?
That we are truly a family and in order to put on a good show you must work hard and enjoy yourself
Aaww. What’s your favorite show that your organization has put on since you've been involved?
My sophomore year homecoming show was the best. It had a great theme original fashion and energy

Part of it is on YouTube i think
I think I know where that is. If there was one thing you could change about your organization, what would it be
Nothing its growing bigger and better each year!
